New EU Medical Device Regulations Seminar

Are you prepared for the changes coming into effect soon?

On Wednesday 11th December 2019, ORCHA and SEHTA will be holding an mHealth App Developer Seminar at Hill Dickinson in London, EC2A 2EW.

Geared especially towards innovators working in mHealth, the workshop aims to give app developers clear guidance on how they can prepare for and conform to the new EU medical device regulations (MDR), which come into effect from 26th May 2020.

We want to ensure that organisations and individual developers alike are fully prepared for the introduction of these new regulations, so that the transition is as smooth and efficient as possible.

As a developer, it can be hard to know exactly how the MDR will affect your company, digital tool and your ability to market your products within the European Union.

The workshop will consist of quick pace presentations, followed by panel discussions. You will have the opportunity to learn:

  • In depth information on the impending EU medical device regulations
  • What organisations are currently doing to prepare for 26th May 2020
  • Who these organisations are and how they can help you
  • What you need to do to prepare and how this will affect you in the future.

Early Bird Rate: Book before 30th November & Special Offer to all delegates

ORCHA is offering all delegates the opportunity to have a FREE App Review* (valued up to £300). Cost also includes a delegate pass to attend SEHTA’s 2020 International MedTech Expo & Conference on 26th March in London.

The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA) is the world’s leading health app evaluation and distribution organisation. Our reviews are recognised and referenced by health professionals and the public across the world.

We’ll conduct an independent evaluation of your app, giving you a score to be shared with your prospective customers and a report to inform your product development. Our ORCHA Connect service will introduce you to specialist help if it’s needed, and, if your app achieves the right score, we’ll award you with our quality badge, and if appropriate, feature your app in the app libraries we deliver to health and care organisations across the world.

Once your app has received an ORCHA Review, it’s automatically added to the ORCHA App Library that is referenced by health professionals and the public.

Depending on your Review score and health condition focus, your app may also be featured in one of our localised health economy App Libraries. 25% of NHS organisations now have an App Library built by us, as do health bodies in five countries across the world.

This enables you to get in front of the professionals that matter: those prescribing to the patients your app has been designed to help.
