ORCHA Health – Office Assistant

2)   The Role: Office Assistant


We are growing super fast and the opportunities we are managing are exciting and often ground breaking. We now need to add some capacity and capability into our team, so we are looking for an Office Assistant to support this expansion.


  • Working closely with the Office Manager, as well as the wider team, you will be responsible for:
  • Communicating with relevant agencies to arrange travel and accommodation for business directors and employees
  • Managing correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
  • Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
  • Drafting, formatting, and printing relevant documents
  • Maintaining stock lists and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Creating agendas 
  • Photocopying and filing appropriate documents as needed
  • Assisting the Office Manager with necessary tasks
  • Other general administrative tasks
  • Any other duties as requested

We are passionate about encouraging the self-development of our employees. As such, you will be offered an apprenticeship scheme as part of your role as an Office Assistant.

3)   What do you need?


It is important that you have:


  • Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and strong understanding of using Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to be flexible in your approach to work
  • The ability to work well within a team and individually, using your initiative to complete tasks effectively and proficiently
  • A committed work ethic, with enthusiasm to develop your skills and a drive to learn
  • Integrity and dependability

Of course, it goes without saying that in this kind of role and environment, you will also need bags of energy, tenacity, flexibility and a great sense of humour. We are a friendly bunch and very much try to foster a fun and supportive environment.
