2) The Role: Software Developer
At the heart of everything we do is the ORCHA Digital Platform. It’s current purpose is to support the ORCHA review team to assess Digital Health Applications and as our business grows we are looking to increase the functionality of the Platform so that it can support automation of the review team processes, capture new datasets that are critical to identifying the Applications and support a network of specialist partners who are dedicated to improving the quality and standards of Digital Health Applications.
We are looking to build a new Technical Team within the business that will support the full project lifecycle from analysis, development and deployment of the ORCHA Digital Platform. Working closely with the Review Team and Product Managers the Technical Team will ensure that we are able to respond quickly and effectively to client and market requirements to grow the business.
Because this is a new team, we are looking for a mix of skills and experience to cover the full array of the development cycle from front end to back end and encompassing digital and web design. Successful candidates will be joining ORCHA at a key stage of its development with the core Platform being re-engineered to allow for the significantly expanding work we are delivering.
You will have the opportunity to shape and influence the products and associated technology strategy for the business and to be part of a roadmap of development opportunities that encompasses some of the most advanced technologies available; we are therefore not looking for expertise in specific technologies at this stage but for individuals who:
- Are passionate about the use technology to improve processes and develop new products;
- Flourish working alongside non-technical teams to understand and respond to requirements;
- Have experience of the full project lifecycle for software development and deployment;
- Want to see what they do as part of a big vision for positive change in the critical area of health and care delivery.
